about

The year is 1189. The lands of Wrenefr continue to recover from L'Edsommr's ravaging of 23 years before. The hidden settlement of Fulbarton emerges from the mists at particular times of the year. It is said when the dawn sun rises between two zfynx statues on the darkest day of the year that they come alive and open the way.

The residents have become comfortable with the melting-pot that is its populace. A mixture of thieves, rogues, tricksters and other ne'er-do-wells. Having survived terrible war and magic attacks, they are cynical of anyone and anything that would be friend or foe. The status quo one has toward another is apathy or passive acrimony.

Nevertheless, the town is under attack. A Somnambulancer has found its way into the town and seeks to slip between consciousness of the residents in search of fragments of an arcane text known only as Wegyr.

Blyth, an Adept Oneironaut has seen glimpses of the Somnambulancer in his own dreams, and has even seen its covetous darker-than-black form in waking hours.

GermAeon Renfrew, UK

GermAeon’s disturbed sound perfectly captures the unwavering existential angst of the modern era.  A leading voice in the UK’s burgeoning dark ambient/dungeon synth scene, his bleak atmospheres and minimalist arrangements fully immerse the imagination.
